Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid graduated from Sir Salimullah Medical College. Dhaka, under The University of Dhaka in 1995.After his internship, he was trained at Mitford Hospital, Dhaka in Pediatrics He also worked as Medical officer of  Bangladesh Government Health service at Upajila Level for few months and then joined as a Medical Officer of Rajbari Municipality  in 1998. He worked as a Child Physician at Rajbari Shishu Hospital. He was trained on  Basic EPI (Expanded Program on Immunization), ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection), Diarrhoea, Rabies. He received a certificate on Post Graduation Program on Pediatric Nutrition  under Boston University (USA) in 2014.
